My favorite time of year is when my regular families come in. The relationships that I have built, truly makes it like seeing family. Lisa and Paul are one of those families. 
The original location that I had selected to photograph them at, we are unable to get to due to closed roads. The days leading up to their session I kept scouting locations and finally I came up with this wonderful spot on Glen Lake. The afternoon light and late summer day made for a perfect family portrait.
Jack is the same age as my Godson, Jelani. When Jelani visits from NYC, he and Jack have been able to hang out. Jack even came to Jelani's birthday party this year.
This is the second year I have had the opportunity to photograph Paul and his son, TJ. The news this year is TJ is DRIVING!! The other news is that TJ is just about the same height as Dad. I had to have him sitting so dad could have one more year being taller.
After a long first full week of school and it being a Friday night, trust me a family portrait was not on the top of TJ and Jack's list. Thank you boys for putting the smiles on when we needed them most and just think you have a whole year before I torture you again!!
